Welcome to McNeese’s Institute for Industry–Education Collaboration (IIEC) Industry Training page—your hub for our catalog of upcoming face-to-face technical training, online technical training, and OSHA, COSM, and COSS safety classes (offered both in-person and online). Explore options below, or request a customized program for your team.
Courses range from hands-on operator and instrumentation labs to compliance and safety credentials, with CEUs/PDHs available. Many offerings can be delivered on site at your facility or in McNeese’s industry-grade labs.
In-Person Industry Training
Hands-on courses delivered at McNeese using industry-grade equipment and realistic lab scenarios. Ideal for operators, technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
Online Industry Training
Flexible online courses for engineers, technicians, and industry professionals. These programs deliver practical, application-based training with real-world relevance and the convenience to learn anytime, anywhere.
OSHA, COSM, & COSS (In-Person & Online)
Safety and compliance training for supervisors, managers, and frontline personnel. Offered in person at McNeese and in convenient online formats.

Application Requirements
You are at least 15 years old.
You are enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade at a Louisiana high school or in a state-approved home school program.
You are on track to complete TOPS/University Core Curriculum.
You are in good standing with your high school or home-school program.
You have permission to participate from the high school and your parent or guardian.
Additionally, if you've taken the ACT or SAT, you meet the minimum composite, English, and math Scores
Or, if you haven't taken the ACT or SAT, you meet the minimum scores.

Application Steps
Submit the course enrollment request form to your high school counselor.
Have high school or homeschool transcripts sent directly from your high school/homeschool to McNeese.
Have ACT, SAT and/or PLAN scores sent directly from your high school or the testing agency to McNeese.
Homeschooled students: Submit copy of your home-school state approved letter to McNeese.
