Institute for Industry – Education Collaboration

​As the liaison between industry and higher education, the Institute for Industry- Education Collaboration (IIEC) seeks to establish relationships with a strong emphasis on economic development via continuing education programs and training courses.  By expanding industry-university collaborations, the IIEC is a means for McNeese State University to "enhance economic development and cultural growth in this region and beyond."

The vision of the IIEC is to become our region's recognized provider of innovative, measurably effective training/education, specifically designed to help industry enhance technical knowledge and improve processes.

Upcoming IIEC Courses

The Institute for Industry Education Collaboration (IIEC) partners with business and industry to provide customized training and professional development by qualified instructors with real-world experience. The IIEC offers courses for continuing education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs) as well as non-credit courses.

Ed2Go Career Training

Ed2Go programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, providing you with effective web-based learning programs. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.

New Opportunities

Lambers Education

The IIEC now offers opportunities to accounting and finance professionals. Online review courses are now available for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified in Management Accounting (CMA) exams and Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP).

EDA University Center

The IIEC and the EDA University Center are in collaboration to further the goals of meeting industry-specific work requirements.
