Spark Business Growth at the Ignite Marketing Conference 

Small business owners and entrepreneurs who are ready to skyrocket their business growth with the latest marketing techniques can attend the Ignite Marketing Conference. Hosted by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at McNeese State University, the free conference will be on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SEED Center.  

“This will be a fun and engaging opportunity for Southwest Louisiana entrepreneurs to hear from industry experts about innovative and effective marketing techniques to unlock new ways to boost their market share,” said Susan Thibodeaux, LSBDC at McNeese director.  

The conference will begin with coffee and networking sponsored by the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance. Conference speakers include: Blaine Smith, training coordinator, LSBDC at Southern University; Bailey Collins, CEO and founder of Honeywave Creative; Emily Gordanier, sales and marketing manager, Lake Charles Event Center; Dean Day, senior business consultant, LSBDC at McNeese; and Haden Vidrine, CEO of Xtended Reach Marketing. Key topics include harnessing artificial intelligence in marketing strategies, effective branding, website utilization, social media ads and analytics and getting a business on Google. 

Eric Avery, president of the Crying Eagle Brewing Co., will present the keynote address where he will share insights from his entrepreneurial journey and marketing expertise.
