Nicholas Bedwell Senior Recital Set

The McNeese State University W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present a free senior recital by Nicholas Bedwell, saxophone, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Tritico Theatre. Ulysses Loken will accompany on piano.

Bedwell will perform “Aria” by Eugene Bozza, “Sonata for Alto Saxophone and Piano” by Paul Creston, “Tableaux de Provence” be Paule Maurice, “Concertino da Camera” by Jacques Ibert and “Black” by Marc Mellits, with special guests David Billodeau, alto saxophone, William Pena, tenor saxophone, and Marcus Carnes, baritone saxophone.

Bedwell, from Killeen, Texas, is a music education major. At McNeese, he is president of McNeese Bands, drum major for the Pride of McNeese Marching Band and  a member of the Wind Symphony and the Saxophone Quartet.
