Dr. Molly Martin, professor of English at the University of Indianapolis, will present a free lecture titled “King Arthur’s Ghosts” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the Stream Alumni Center at McNeese State University.

Martin’s lecture will focus on the legends of King Arthur. An expert in Arthurian legend, she is the author of “Vision and Gender in Malory’s Morte Darthur” (2010) and “Castles and Space in Malory’s Morte Darthur” (2019). She is also the associate editor of the journal, Arthuriana.

Martin’s talk is sponsored by McNeese’s Department of English and Foreign Languages and the Honors College as part of the Joe and Lydia Cash Endowed Lecture Series in Literature and Culture. This lecture series was established in 2010 by Dr. Joe Cash, former chair of the department for 23 years, and his wife, Lydia, a retired Calcasieu Parish teacher, through the McNeese Foundation.
