McNeese to Host Black Professionals Panel Discussion
The Career and Student Development Center at McNeese State University will host a panel discussion with black professionals in the Lake Area on Feb. 19, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. in the La Jeunesse Room of the Holbrook Student Union.
The moderated panel
discussion will focus on the professional experiences of each participant and questions
can be submitted to the Center. This event is open free to the public.
“We’re excited to continue
our professional speaker series and look forward to hearing from our panelists,”
said Paul Rainy, career and student development coordinator. “We are hopeful
that our students and community guests will not only hear from some of the
incredible leaders in our area, but will also take the time to network and form
new relationships.”
The panelists include:
- Dr. Michael
Snowden, chief diversity officer for McNeese
- Spencer Hall,
Keller Williams real estate agent
- Nicole Clark,
Calcasieu Parish Police Jury probation officer and small business owner
- Kirk Thibeaux,
district sales manager for Republic National Distributing Co.
