McNeese Hosts Book Reading
McNeese State University English instructor
Michael Horner will present a reading from his new book, “Damage Control,” at 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, in McNeese’s
Business Conference Center. This free reading is sponsored by the Department
of English and Foreign Languages.
“Damage Control” is a comic
rollercoaster ride that explores the moral challenge of work as well as a
family’s strange impulse to self-destruct and its ultimate need to come
together.
Originally from Massachusetts,
Horner has called Lake Charles home since 1999. He has a Master of Fine Arts in
fiction from McNeese.
