McNeese Hosts Book Reading

McNeese State University English instructor Michael Horner will present a reading from his new book, “Damage Control,” at 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, in McNeese’s Business Conference Center. This free reading is sponsored by the Department of English and Foreign Languages.

“Damage Control” is a comic rollercoaster ride that explores the moral challenge of work as well as a family’s strange impulse to self-destruct and its ultimate need to come together.
Originally from Massachusetts, Horner has called Lake Charles home since 1999. He has a Master of Fine Arts in fiction from McNeese.
