McNeese Drums & Drafts Fundraiser for Band Travel Fund

The second annual Drums & Drafts fundraiser to benefit McNeese State University’s Pride of McNeese Marching Band will be held from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Crying Eagle Brewery in Lake Charles with proceeds going to the band’s travel fund.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and include admission, entertainment and two beers. Advanced tickets – cash or check only – will be available July 23-Aug. 3 at the McNeese Alumni Center or McNeese Band office.

Participants can purchase food from area food trucks and enjoy performances by McNeese’s Steel Drum Band, Drumline and much more.

“This is quite possibly the best fundraiser and night of entertainment combination ever created!” said Dr. Jay Jacobs, McNeese director of bands. “Last year’s attendance was phenomenal. What better way to spend your Saturday evening and to help put The Pride of McNeese in more stadiums every season.”
