LSBDC to Host “Women-Owned Small Business Certification” Workshop

McNeese State University will hold a workshop titled “Women-Owned Small Business Certification” from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the SEED Center.
The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese.
The U.S. Small Business Administration developed the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification to give industries that generally have fewer women owners an advantage in getting federal contracts.
In this workshop, attendees will learn more about the WOSB program and how it can help grow their business, as well as other SBA certifications. Attendees can also get assistance registering for other certifications.
There is no fee for attendance. For more information, contact the LSBDC at McNeese at 337-475-5529 or by email lsbdc.msu@lsbdc.org. Register at lsbdc.org/msu
