LSBDC to Host “Starting and Financing Your Business Idea” Workshop

McNeese State University will hold a workshop titled “Starting and Financing Your Business Idea” from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Zigler Art Museum in Jennings, La.
The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese and co-sponsored by SASOL and the SWLA Economic Development Alliance.
This workshop will feature speaker and business consultant Susan Thibodeaux, and is recommended for all individuals who are interested in determining the feasibility of their business idea, planning to start or have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan or who want to learn more about business planning. Topics of discussion will include entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, funding sources for start-ups and expansion and small business resources.
