Fifth Annual Cowboy Kickoff Showcase Set

McNeese State University will host the fifth annual Cowboy Kickoff Showcase fundraiser for the Pride of McNeese Marching Band travel fund at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, in Burton Coliseum.

Admission is $20. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and concessions will be sold during the event.

The showcase will feature several presentations, including performances by the McNeese Marching Band, Cowgirl Kickers and cheerleaders and guest performances by the Sulphur High School Band of Pride.

“The Kickoff Showcase is a fun way for families, fans and alumni to help our band program with the costs of travel for The Pride of McNeese and our recruiting efforts throughout the year,” said Dr. Jay Sconyers, director of bands.
