Banners at McNeese Offers Free Performance by Freedom Brass

Celebrate our servicemen and women in blue with a free performance by Freedom Brass at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, in McNeese State University’s F.G. Bulber Auditorium as part of the 2019 Banners at McNeese season.
Freedom Brass is the brass ensemble band of the U.S. Air Force West at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The ensemble – comprised of two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion – performs for civilian and military audiences throughout the southwestern region of the United States with a repertoire of music spanning over five centuries and multiple genres.
Audiences will enjoy a medley of classical, religious, jazz, patriotic and contemporary pieces, ranging from Bach and Handel to Sousa.
