On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the Women and Gender Studies Lecture Series will begin its Spring semester offerings with “Women in the Workplace.” McNeese MBA candidate Emilee Whitaker will discuss the ways that, over the years, women increasingly were integrated into the American workforce. While many found avenues of success in all facets of work, it was not without a struggle. Learn more about the struggle and how women found their personal success, and how businesses discovered an increase in revenue by including women in their workforce. This free presentation and a light luncheon will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the McNeese Room of Frazar Memorial Library.
The Women and Gender Studies Lecture Series is sponsored by a Juliet Hardtner Endowed Professorship for Women.
