McNeese Trumpet Festival

Dr. Jacquelyn Lankford (Professor of Trumpet and Director of Jazz Ensembles) and the WA and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will host the McNeese Trumpet Festival March 18-19, 2023. The two days will consist of masterclasses, clinics, Q&A sessions, performances, and more. Guest artists will include Dr. Jason Bergman (ITG President and Professor of Trumpet at IU), Josh Kauffman (Lead Trumpet in the US Army Blues), and Dr. Pancho Romero (Professor of Trumpet at NMSU). This is event is FREE and is open to all high school students, college students, professionals, and comeback players. The final concert will take place at 3pm on the 19^th, is free and open to the public, and will feature the guest artists, McNeese Jazz Band, and other McNeese students. Registration is available online here: https://forms.office.com/r/nj2zYaRHac.
