McNeese State University Burton College of Education and Astronomical Society along with Calcasieu Parish Library are hosting a solar eclipse watching party on Monday, April 8, at 12:30 p.m. in front of the McNeese Recreation Complex.
Viewers will have the opportunity to view the total solar eclipse through telescopes and enjoy the Star Lab Planetarium.
The first 200 McNeese students will receive eclipse viewing glasses and free food and drinks.
