All Literary contestants must be registered on the excel file and email it back to me by 12:00 pm to mowens@mcneese.edu. I will only accept the excel template for entries.

** McNeese’s Spring Preview Day is the same day as Literary Rally. March 20, 2027 - All students are invited.

Rally Day Reminders:

  • Students must bring their own #2 pencils (no sharpeners will be available).
  • Students should dress in layers since classroom temperatures vary.
  • All tests begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Please arrive early. Students will have one hour unless accommodations were previously arranged.
  • Students must complete their Scantron properly and print their name and high school clearly. Scantrons will be provided in the testing rooms.
  • Please review calculator policies for applicable tests: Calculator Usage Policy
  • Unofficial results will be posted outside the Holbrook Student Union Annex (New Ranch #39 on the campus map), north side doors facing the Quad, beginning around 10:30 AM and continuing until all tests are turned in (usually around noon).
  • Official results will be posted on the district rally website and emailed to coordinators after all test packets are verified the following Monday and Tuesday: McNeese District Rally Website
  • The District Rally Coordinator will then send results to State Rally (LSU) to determine eligibility for State Rally
    on April 17, 2027.
  • Students are also invited to participate in Spring Preview Day.

*School Buses should unload the students on campus and then park at either the softball field or football field. We have several events occurring on campus this day and will need access to all of the parking lots.
