Upcoming Golf Tournament Benefits McNeese Athletics

Invitation to William A. Oliver Memorial Golf Tournament, sponsored by Ochsner Health and McNeese Athletic Foundation.

The Inaugural William A. Oliver Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18 at the Golden Nugget Country Club in Lake Charles. All proceeds from this event will benefit the McNeese State University Athletic Foundation.

Fifteen team spots are available at a cost of $2,500 per four-man team.

Several sponsorship opportunities are available:

Gold Sponsor ($5,000): Includes one team, four hole signs, logo on sponsor signage and a special mention at the reception.
Silver Sponsor ($3,000): Includes one team, two hole signs and a logo on sponsor signage.

In addition to this event, there will be a special pairing party for registered golfers from 6-8 p.m. in the Sycamore Room of the L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles on Aug. 17. Sponsored by AT&T and hosted by McNeese President Dr. Daryl Burckel and Vice President for University Advancement Dr. Wade Rousse, this event will also feature special guests Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, Senate President Page Cortez and Speaker of the House Clay Schexnayder. Four golfers will also be selected at this event for the chance to win $1 million.
