The Department of Education Professions at McNeese State University will host its third annual “Unlock Education” event for high school juniors and seniors Friday, Jan. 17.
The event allows students in the five-parish area to get a first-hand look at what it takes to be a teacher.
This year students will participate in escape room style activities that align with content material in PK-12 grade education. Geaux Teach events are designed to “unlock” students’ passion and desire to positively impact others through the teaching profession.
