McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
The McNeese State University W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present a free senior recital by Ju Kim, clarinet, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, in the Squires Recital Hall. Lina Morita will accompany on piano.
Kim will perform “Five Bagatelles, Op. 23” by Gerald Finzi, “Concerto in A major” by Wolfgang Mozart, “Sonata” by Johannes Brahms, “Sonatina” by Malcolm Arnold and “Scherzetto” by Gordon Jacob. The Clarinet Choir will also perform.
Kim, originally from South Korea, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music at McNeese. He is currently a member of the Wind Symphony and has been a member of the Pride of McNeese Marching Band and the Clarinet Choir.
