McNeese Announces 2024 Homecoming Court

Students Mary Caraway, a kinesiology major from Jennings, and Glenn Anderson, an accounting major from Fort Johnson, have been named as McNeese State University’s 2024 Homecoming Queen and King.
The royal pair and court will be presented during halftime ceremonies of the McNeese Cowboys vs. the Texas A&M – Commerce Lions football game on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium.
Caraway, daughter of Kelly Caraway and William Kent, is a member of Cowboy Catholics, Chi Omega, Psi Epsilon Kappa and Physical Medicine Society. She is a Rowdy Rider and the McNeese Cheerleading captain.
Anderson, son of Veronica and William Anderson, is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, NAACP, Greek Unity Board, Rowdy Riders and Rangers. He is the treasurer of Student Government Association, vice president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and president of Black Male Initiative.
Other court members are seniors Meg Davidson, William Calhoun, Cara Murphy and Evan Veillon. Representing the juniors are Kennedy Bihm, Jagger Morvant, Elyse Duhon and Jake Armand. Representing the sophomores are Oghenekarho Amurun and Jamall Franklin Jr. The freshman representatives are Madison Bihm and Louis Gilley.
Davidson, an early childhood education major from Lake Charles, is the daughter of J. J. and Van Davidson. She is a member of Chi Omega, Cowboy Catholics and a participant of the McNeese student teaching residency program.
Calhoun, an accounting major from Baton Rouge, is the son of Catheren Fairchild and Kevin Calhoun. His concentration is professional accountancy and exam preparation. He is a member of Spectrums, History Club, Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society and is a student athlete tutor.
Murphy is a kinesiology major from Sulphur. She is the daughter of Lisa and Jeff Murphy. Her concentration is pre-physical therapy. She is a member of the Physical Medicine Society and intramural volleyball. She is a Cowboy Awakening participant and chapter president of Phi Mu.
Veillon, a business administration major with a concentration in construction management, from Ville Platte, is the son of Kim and Jed Veillon. He is a member of Cowboy Catholics, Rowdy Riders and Student Leadership Advisory Council. He is a new member educator for Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, vice president of Philanthropy for Interfraternity Council and representative for the First-Generation Campaign for Louisiana Board of Regents.
Kennedy Bihm, an accounting major from Lake Arthur, is the daughter of Mandy and Kevin “Boo” Bihm. Her concentration is professional accountancy and exam preparation. She is a member of the College of Business Student Leader Advisory Council, Rowdy Riders, intramural co-ed flag football and Adopt-a-Child for Christmas Committee. She is a macroeconomics student tutor and vice president of Phi Mu.
Morvant, an accounting major from Moss Bluff, is the son of Jami and Brent Morvant. His concentration is professional accountancy and exam preparation. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, Rowdy Riders, Greek Unity Board and Order of Omega. He serves on the Student Leadership Advisory Committee for the College of Business.
Duhon, a business management major from Jennings, is the daughter of Elisha and Jake Duhon. She is a member of Chi Omega, Cowboy Catholics, Students for Life, Cowboy Energy Club with LNG and is the Student Government Association chief communications officer.
Armand, a business administration major from Lake Charles, is the son of Lana Pearson and Troy Armand. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, Cowboy Catholics, intramurals and Cowboy Energy Club with LNG.
Amurun, an accounting major from Delta, Nigeria, is the daughter of Paulin and William Amurun. She is a member of African and Caribbean Students Association, Delta Sigma Pi, International Student Association, Baptist College Ministry and the Forensic Speech and Debate Team.
Franklin, a mass communication major from Port Allen, is the son of Lizzie Johnson. His concentration is sports and entertainment. He is a member of Rowdy Riders, Black Male Initiative, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the McNeese football team.
Madison Bihm is an accounting major from Lake Arthur. She is the daughter of Mandy and Kevin “Boo” Bihm. She is a member of the McNeese Cowgirl Kickers.
Gilley, a political science major from Moss Bluff, is the son of Lauren Gilley. His concentration is pre-law. He is a member of Kappa Sigma, Rowdy Riders and Cowboy Catholics. He is the Student Government Association chief of staff.
