The McNeese State University Alumni Association is partnering with JCPenney to provide exclusive discounts on career apparel for McNeese students and alumni during the Suit Up sale from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, in Prien Lake Mall in Lake Charles.
“We’re very excited to continue work with JCPenney to provide this one-on-one shopping experience for our students and alumni,” says Stephanie Clark, assistant director of alumni affairs. “The fall semester was our first Suit Up event and some students saved over $600 on their transactions!”
The JCPenney Suit Up event is just three days before McNeese’s Spring Career Fair on March 4 in the Rec Complex. This is the perfect opportunity for students and graduates to shop for professional attire that will make a strong first impression with employers at the fair, according to Clark.
To enter JCPenney, students must show a McNeese ID and alumni must show their Rowdy Card. Parents of student participants are also welcome. Each participant will receive a 30% off coupon to use towards a purchase of select men’s and women’s career dress apparel, shoes and accessories. Many items will already be marked down, and combined with the coupon, total savings could amount to 60% off.
Sephora inside JCPenney will also be providing free mini makeovers and samples, while the JCPenney Salon – although closed – will have consultants on hand to offer tips or schedule appointments.
