McNeese Student Wins Louisiana Academy of Sciences Award

McNeese Student Chiamaka

At the recent Louisiana Academy of Sciences annual meeting McNeese graduate student Chiamaka Uwaoma Nnadi won the award for the Best Graduate Oral Presentation in the Agriculture, Forestry, Wildlife, Environmental Science category.

Chiamaka is a graduate student in the Harold and Pearl Dripps School of Agricultural Sciences. Her presentation centered around her research project, “Yield Responses of Watermelon to Fertilization with Feedlot Manure and Mulching with Rice Chaff Refuse or Pine Bark.”
