Small business owners across Southwest Louisiana will have the opportunity this spring to attend a no-cost “Building Wealth Through Government Contracting” training led by representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Louisiana district office.
“The sessions will introduce local entrepreneurs to the federal contracting process. Participants will learn how the government purchases goods and services, how to register their business in the federal System for Award Management, and how to search, bid and compete for federal contracts using proven best practices,” said Dean Day, director of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University.

Business owners, startups and entrepreneurs interested in expanding into government contracting markets are encouraged to attend.
