McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
Faculty and students in McNeese’s Master of Fine Arts program as well as the McNeese Zyde-Pokes provided entertainment to downtown Lake Charles this weekend as part of the city’s Art 6-Feet Apart series.
Professors of English Dr. Keagan LeJeune and Amy Fleury, current MFA student Maegan Gonzales and MFA alumna Hillary Joubert brought words to life during a poetry reading.
The Zyde-Pokes, a five-member student and community band, got the crowd on its feet with traditional Zydeco music.
