McNeese Hosts Honors College Alumna for Talk

 McNeese State University will host McNeese alumna Kelly Hines for a talk on Friday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the McNeese Alumni Center. This event is sponsored by the Honors College and is free to the public.  

Hines will present “My Journey Through Kinesiology: More Than Resistance Training and Rehab.” She has co-authored 12 articles, including “Safety of Creatine Supplementation” in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Medicine.  

Hines graduated from McNeese in 2023 with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in health and human performance. During her time at the university, she was a member of the Honors College, a goalie on the soccer team and an active participant in the Cowboy Catholics.  

Following graduation, she attended Texas A&M University where she obtained a Master of Science degree in kinesiology. She is currently working towards a doctorate degree in exercise science at State University of New York Buffalo.
