McNeese hosts guest recital

The McNeese State University W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present a free guest recital with soprano Jenny Brunner and harpist Jane Clark at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Tritico Theatre.
The performance will feature harp solos, vocal solos with harp accompaniment and vocal works accompanied on piano by Sally Mondella by composers Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré, French-American harpist-composer Marcel Grandjany, Reynaldo Hahn, William Schuman, Giovanni Bononcini, Ernesto Lecuona and Easthope Martin.
Brunner has a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Brigham Young University and is a member of the Masterworks Chorale. Clark has a bachelor’s degree in harp performance from McNeese and is the principle harpist for the Lake Charles Symphony.
