McNeese Hosts Cybersecurity Workshop

A workshop titled “Small Business, Big Threat: Cybersecurity and Your Business” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the SEED Center at McNeese State University. The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese.
Business owners will learn about the importance of cybersecurity and how to protect themselves against cybersecurity issues. Topics will also provide information on how to comply with such regulations as HIPAA for healthcare, PCI for credit card payments and FERPA for education providers.
