McNeese Faculty Potpourri Recital Set

McNeese State University’s W.A. and Dorothy Hanna Department of Performing Arts will present a free Faculty Potpourri Recital at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in Tritico Theatre.
The program will feature: “Dance Preludes” by Witold Lutoslawski, with Jan Scott on clarinet and Ulysses Loken on piano; “A Song for a Friend” by Kevin McTee, with Wiff Rudd on trumpet and Lina Morita on piano; “Three Irish Folksong Settings,” arranged by John Corigliano, with soprano Carol Lines and Judy Hand on flute; “Daybreak” by Nicola Ferro, with William Rose on tenor trombone and Anne Rose on piano; “Como poden per sas culpas” from the “Cantaiges de Santa Maria,” arranged by Phil Sndecor, with Dave Scott and Rudd on trumpets and Lonny Benoit, percussion; “Les Adieux” by Franz Strauss and “Andante” by Richard Strauss, with Rod Lauderdale on horn and Morita on piano; “Quanto è bella, quanto è cara” from “L’elisir d’amore” by Gaetano Donizetti, with tenor Richard Leonberger and Morita on piano; “Sonata No. 2 in A Major, Op. 100” by Johannes Brahms, with Sarah Cullen on violin and Morita on piano; and “Eiffel Tower Polka” by Francis Poulenc, with Rudd and Scott on trumpets and Morita on piano.
