McNeese Graduates Lead Chamber SWLA
Both the outgoing and incoming Chairs of the Chamber SWLA are McNeese graduates.
2021 Chair Jim Giffin is a 1988 accounting graduate. Jim – a Financial Adviser with Edward Jones – is an active Chamber SWLA Board Member, serving two full terms on the Board before his Chairmanship.
2022 Chair Kay Fox – a 1988 mass communication graduate and 1993 instructional technology graduate – is the Vice President of Marketing and Member Services for Beauregard Electric Cooperative in DeRidder. Kay was named to the Chamber SWLA Board in 2020.
The Chamber is part of the SWLA Economic Development Alliance housed at the McNeese SEED Center that promotes workforce and economic development in the region.
