Agricultural Sciences Graduate Inducted Into Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame
Charnel Bailey, a 1989 agricultural sciences graduate, is one of the newest members of the Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame.
Charnel was a Rosepine 4-H member for nine years, Vernon Parish 4-H Livestock Club Leader for 14 years, 4-H parent for 12 years, Vernon Parish 4-H Advisory Committee member for seven years, Vernon Parish 4-H Livestock Advisory Committee member for eight years, Vernon Parish fair board member for six years and Louisiana 4-H Foundation Trustee for four years.
As a member of the Vernon Parish 4-H Livestock club, Bailey planned fundraisers and activities, enlisted donors, obtained show pens, helped youth select calves and goats for the show, worked with youth to help provide grooming and showing techniques for his parish and across the state and assisted with the annual Livestock Expo.
