Program Overview
The McNeese Summer Engineering Research Academy gives high school students a hands-on introduction to engineering through university lab experiences, problem-solving activities, and small-group instruction with McNeese faculty.
Students may register for Week 1, Week 2, or both weeks. Week 1 is not a prerequisite for Week 2.
Who can attend: Students entering 9th–12th grade.

Daily program schedule includes morning and afternoon sessions with lunch provided between sessions.

$500 for Week 1 or Week 2

Included
Lunch, small-group instruction by McNeese faculty, use of university labs and equipment, and a Certificate of Achievement at the end of each week.
Tuition Assistance
Limited tuition subsidies are available on a first-come, first-served basis thanks to support from the McNeese Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and other donors.
