McNeese to Host Kent Quaney for Fiction Reading

The McNeese State University Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program in creative writing is hosting a fiction reading by Kent Quaney on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Stream Alumni Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Quaney is the creative writing coordinator at Auburn University Montgomery.
His novel One Breath from Drowning won the Brodie Award for fiction. His short stories and essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Review, BULL, Literally Stories and RiversEdge.
Founded in 1981, McNeese’s MFA degree program is the oldest MFA program in Louisiana and one of the oldest in the Southeast.
