McNeese Offers Free STEM Workshop for Elementary Teachers

Seats are still available for a free science, technology, engineering and mathematics workshop offered to Southwest Louisiana elementary teachers in grades 3-5 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in Frasch Hall at McNeese State University.
The workshop – sponsored by the McNeese Burton College of Education and the Ocean Exploration Trust – will offer area elementary teachers an opportunity to engage in a hands-on STEM curriculum and activities.
Topics will include engineering and problem solving, career pathways and methods of communication, and ocean and extreme ecosystems.
