McNeese Hosts Ceramics Workshop

The McNeese State University Department of Visual Arts will host a free ceramics workshop featuring artist Randy Johnston as part of the Debi and Bill Mixon Visiting Artist Lecture Series on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 11-12.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday in Room 119 of the Shearman Fine Arts Annex
On Thursday, he will present a lecture at 4 p.m. in Room 113 of the SFAA detailing his artistic work and influences.
Johnston is a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and his work is in several permanent collections throughout the country. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art from the University of Minnesota and his Master of Fine Arts degree from Southern Illinois University.
