Creating a Family Friendly Environment at The Jeaux

Tanner Stines, Interim Athletics Director, Will Dion, Pitcher, David Griffin, Jordan Griffin, Kimberly Griffin, Sean-Michael Brady, Pitcher, Justin Hill, Head Baseball Coach, and Zack May, Pitcher.

A ribbon cutting to officially open the Little Pokes Playground was held Saturday before the Cowboys defeated Mississippi Valley State 12-0 and 21-2 in a doubleheader.

Coach Justin Hill has a long-term, multi-layered, vision for Joe Miller Ballpark, known as The Jeaux, and ardent McNeese supporters David and Kimberly Griffin embraced the idea of the playground and agreed to fund the project. The playground is dedicated to the Foster and Adoptive Families of Southwest Louisiana. The Griffins also hosted a special tailgate for foster and adoptive families before the afternoon games.
