The Cowboy baseball program has earned its fifth consecutive American Baseball Coaches Association’s Team Academic Excellence Award. The Cowboys are one of only 12 Division 1 teams in the country – and the only Southland Conference team – to receive the ABCA academic achievement recognition for five straight years for college programs whose student-athletes post at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
The Cowboy golf team has been named a recipient of the Golf Coaches Association of America 2019-20 Outstanding Team Academic Award. The award honors the academic achievement of 250 college programs at all divisions and levels whose student-athletes post at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
