Freshman Advising serves as an initial contact point for first-time freshmen. All first-time freshmen are advised based on their chosen major. Students who have a broad range of interests may choose to pursue an associate or bachelor degree in General Studies.

Traditional
Traditional First-Time Freshman
Advising Checklist
- If you graduated from high school in 2020 or 2021 and you have not attended another college or university after graduation, you are a traditional first-time freshman.
- If you were a dual enrollment student or early admission student during high school and graduated in 2020 or 2021, you are still a traditional first-time freshman.
If you are a traditional, first-time freshman (20 years old or younger), you will be advised and register your classes at Cowboy Camp.
