Temporary Academic Adjustments and Services

  • The Office of Accessibility Services offers a wide variety of services to students with temporary documented disabilities.
  • Services are extended to students with temporary disabilities only for the duration of their functional limitations associated with their disability.
  • The eligibility process is the same as for permanent disability cases.
  • After reviewing your documentation, the director will determine appropriate academic services and academic adjustments depending on how you are limited in the academic setting.
  • The Director will explain the process you need to follow to access the academic adjustments for which you are eligible.
  • You will then be responsible for requesting most academic adjustments in a timely manner and to following Accessibility Services policies and procedures for accessing academic adjustments.
