McNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY
McNeese State University will host the 2021 Cowboy Kickoff Showcase fundraiser for the Pride of McNeese Marching Band travel fund at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, in Burton Coliseum.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Doors open at 5 p.m. Face masks or coverings are required.
The showcase will feature several presentations, including performances by the McNeese Marching Band, Cowgirl Kickers and cheerleaders and guest performances by the Sulphur High School Band of Pride, Westlake High School Ram Band, Washington-Marion High School Band and Iowa High School Band.
“The Kickoff Showcase is a fun way for families, fans and alumni to help our band program with the costs of travel for The Pride of McNeese and our recruiting efforts throughout the year,” said Dr. Jay Sconyers, director of bands.
