Vincent attended the University of Texas in Austin and received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston. She has exhibited locally at the 1911 Historical City Hall and Cultural Center, Art Associates Gallery, and Henning Cultural Center. Her mural, Joie de Vive is located at the Lake Charles Civic Center. She participates in regional as well as national exhibits all across the United States.
Outside of painting, Vincent also endeavors to preserve nature by working with federal agencies in efforts to plant trees along water streams, to plant grasses to support restoration of the natural prairies and to build wildlife ponds to stock fish. Living on ancestral roots in Texas and Louisiana encouraged her love of the land. It created in her sensitivity to the delicate balance that exists between man and nature.
