Beginning Computer II: Files and Folders

Generic Computer
Students will work with the desktop including creating shortcuts. They will explore the Folders Pane while learning how to manage folders and files. Students use Explorer to create, rename, copy, paste, move, and delete folders and files. The Recycle Bin is explained and files are moved to and restored from the Recycle Bin.

We'll work with Windows, the Internet and e-mail. Students learn how to search for data stored on the hard drive. They investigate the Control Panel while learning how to change wallpaper, add a screen saver, adjust the mouse, change the default printer, hide the taskbar, and customize the Start menu. Students will leave with a handy reference guide.
