McNeese Sophomore Completes Breakthrough Tech AI Program
Chiamanda Ononiwu, sophomore at McNeese State University, had the opportunity to assist in a semester-long virtual AI project with the Breakthrough Tech AI Program through a partnership with the U.S-based satellite intelligence company Ursa Space Systems. This provided a chance for her to experience hands-on, team-based work to solve real-world problems. McNeese Visual Arts Hosting Gumbowl Fundraiser
The McNeese State University Department of Visual Arts is hosting a Gumbowl fundraiser from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in the Shearman Fine Arts Annex Atrium. Tickets are $20 and proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help defray costs of McNeese ceramics students attending the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Conference in Detroit, Michigan.
