The McNeese State University College of Nursing and Health Professions is hosting a summer High School Round Up July 14-18 9 a.m. until noon.
High school students in grades 9-11 who want to become nurses are invited to the Round Up. During the week students will learn four skills that are vital to nursing practice: temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
“We are looking for students who are serious about becoming nurses and want to gain insight into being nursing students,” explained Dr. Danielle Guillory, assistant professor of nursing at McNeese.
There is no charge for the Round Up, but students must fill out the application at https://brnw.ch/21wQBxu
