The Office of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) is the official liaison between the University and local, regional, state, and national print and broadcast media, and all requests for media coverage for University-related activities are routed through this office. News releases, photographs, and public service announcements are released by MarCom. MarCom facilitates communication and delivers information to internal constituencies through internal communication channels; is responsible for ensuring that information on the University website is accurate, timely, and meets accreditation requirements; and oversees the University’s official social media platforms.

MarCom also serves as the clearinghouse for all University-related promotional materials, publications, and advertising to ensure clarity, accuracy, timeliness, consistency of message and voice, and compliance with requirements related to the University’s equal opportunity and access policies, accreditation status, and trademark agreements.
