The Intellectual Property Committee is an ad hoc committee convened by the intellectual property advocate when new inventions, disputes, or other issues involving intellectual property arise on campus. The intellectual property advocate is appointed by the vice president for business affairs, and the committee members are chosen based on their familiarity with the subject matter.
