McNeese Student Wins Two Business Competitions
McNeese State University student John “Trey” Gregory has big plans! He recently won the 2023 SEED Center Business Pitch Competition in the college division and the Lake Charles Launch Small Business Development Week’s inaugural “Gator Tank.” Gregory pitched his idea “Indoor Divot Recreation,” a virtual indoor golf facility.
Indoor Divot Recreation is a concept for an indoor golfing facility that brings all the fun of golfing with the comfort of the indoors without any of the hassle of real-life golf.
“My primary goal is to graduate from McNeese and attend LSU’s Dental School in New Orleans,” Gregory explained. “I am a businessman at heart and becoming a dentist doesn’t mean I’m saying no to my planned ventures. I hope to become a dentist that can then invest in making Southwest Louisiana a better place!”
