McNeese Hosts Future Cowboys
McNeese State University hosted more than 500 high seniors and their families for Cowboy Commitment Day on Thursday, March 28.
The students, already fully accepted into McNeese, had the opportunity to register for fall classes, get a student ID card, a parking pass, meet their advisers, tour housing and explore campus.
“This is our opportunity to introduce these new students to our campus, make them feel comfortable and provide information that will help them be successful when they arrive in the fall,” explained Dr. Chip LeMieux, provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment Management. “We want them to know that they made the right choice to continue their education.”
Students have many choices when it comes to education beyond high school graduation. McNeese is a close to home, affordable choice that provides students with bachelor’s degrees that meet the employment needs of Southwest Louisiana. McNeese is a place where students can find a home.
