McNeese Foundation Receives AT&T Donation for STEM Scholarships

AT&T recently donated $10,000 to the McNeese State University Foundation for scholarships to students majoring in science, technology, engineering or math. The university continues to serve as an economic and workforce development partner for Southwest Louisiana employers who are seeking well-prepared employees in STEM-related jobs to meet the demands of the billions of dollars in new projects underway here in the Lake Area.
On hand for the presentation are, from left, state Rep. Mark Abraham (R-District 36), Sen. Dan W. “Blade” Morrish (R-District 25), Blaine E. Kelly, strategic account lead, government and education solutions, AT&T Services, McNeese President Dr. Daryl Burckel, Sarah Allen, regional director, external and legislative affairs, AT&T Services, Chance Henry, AT&T retail store manager for Sulphur, and Meghan Perrodin, AT&T assistant store manager in Lake Charles.
