McNeese Announces the 2026 Spring Court
McNeese State University announces Lianne Montelibano, a biological science major from Moss Bluff, as Ms. McNeese, and Omari Francis, a finance major from Lafayette, as Mr. McNeese for Spring Court 2026.
Montelibano is the president of the Student Government Association (SGA), the student advisory council chair of the University of Louisiana System, the president of Pre-Pharmacy Society, the vice president of Health Occupations Students of America, the past president of the Speech and Debate team, chairperson for the Technology Advancement of Students Committee and a Rowdy Rider. She was named Krewe De Rowdy Mardi Gras Queen and is a member of the Biology Club and the Round Up Student Leadership Academy.
Francis is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) executive board, SGA, NAACP, Brothers Advancing Success and Excellence (BASE) and the Round Up Student Leadership Academy. He was also part of the Reginald F. Lewis Scholars program.
Other spring court members include: Kynnedi Babineaux and Rhett Chautin, freshmen; Allyson Treme and Ethan Boom, sophomores; Haleigh Fruge, Rakendric Lewis, Alicia Powell and Bronson Williams, juniors; and Camryn Richard, Ademisola Arilesere, Bashirat Adekanmbi and Jaspin Vaughn, seniors.
Babineaux is an elementary education major from Lafayette. She is involved in Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, SGA, Student Life Coalition (SLC), NAACP, Women in Leadership, It’s On Us and First-Year Experience (FYE).
Chautin is a kinesiology major from Port Barre. He is involved in Cowboy Catholics, Turning Point USA and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor society.
Treme is an early childhood education major from Welsh. She is the SGA Sergeant at Arms for SGA, the treasurer of Chi Omega and is a Rowdy Rider.
Boom is a kinesiology major from Moss Bluff. He is the speaker of the SGA Senate, the past secretary of Kappa Sigma fraternity and is a Rowdy Rider.
Fruge is a history major from Hathaway. She is a FYE Peer Mentor and is involved in Cowboy Catholics, Educators Rising, Chi Omega, Order of Omega, Delight Women’s Ministry, History Club and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society.
Lewis is an early childhood education major from Lake Charles. He is involved in Educator’s Rising, SLC, McNeese Rangers, Alpha Phi Alpha and the Round Up Student Leadership Academy.
Powell is a nursing major from San Diego, California. She is the vice president of Alpha Kappa Alpha and vice president of NPHC. Powell is also involved with SGA, Order of Omega, Round Up Student Leadership Academy and the Student Nurses Association.
Williams is a kinesiology major from Moss Bluff. He is president of Kappa Alpha Order and a Rowdy Rider. Williams is also involved in Order of Omega, Physical Medicine Society and the Greek Unity Board.
Richard is a chemical engineering major from Moss Bluff. She is a member of the Honors College, McNeese Rodeo Team and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Richard is the executive secretary for the SGA and president of American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Arilesere is a finance and management major from Nigeria. He is a peer mentor for FYE and a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, Round Up Student Leadership Academy, Speech and Debate Team, International Students Association, African and Caribbean Students Association (ACSA) and BASE.
Adekanmbi is a nursing major from Nigeria. She is a peer mentor for FYE and the vice president of ACSA. Adekanmbi is also involved with the SGA, International Students Association, Residence Hall Association and SLC.
Vaughn is a theatre arts major from Alexandria. He is a peer mentor for FYE and is the president of BASE. Vaughn is also involved in McNeese Theatre, Phi Mu Alpha and NAACP.
